On 15 September 2019, the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV) comprising 5 ASEAN countries in Vancouver, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam jointly organised a picnic day at Queen’s Park, New Westminster. The ASEAN Family Picnic highlighted the close and warm relations among ASEAN countries in Vancouver to further strengthen ASEAN unity. The half day event brought members of ACGV together with their staff and families for a lovely afternoon of games and snacks. The event was also attended by students and the Malaysian community in Vancouver.
