On 2 October 2018, Mr. Shamsul Nizam Shamsuddin, Consul General was invited to attend the ceremony held by LNG Canada to sign the Final Investment Decision (FID) by all the joint venture participants.
LNG Canada is a joint venture company which encompasses five global energy companies with extensive experience in LNG namely Shell, PETRONAS, PetroChina, Mitsubishi and Korea Gas.
The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister of Canada, the Right Honourable Justin P.J. Trudeau, and Premier of B.C., the Honourable John Horgan.
