On 12 April 2018, Consul General paid a courtesy call on Honourable Darryl Plecas, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
The courtesy call took place at Parliament Building, Victoria, British Columbia. Consul General expressed his appreciation and thanked Speaker Plecas for his commitment in developing Malaysia-British Columbia relations over the years.
Consul General and Speaker Plecas exchanged views on potential areas for cooperation particularly on collaborative efforts between two legislative institutions, education and trade.
