The 2nd ASEAN Cultural Night was held on 18 October 2007 at the UBC First Nation Longhouse. It was jointly organized by the five ASEAN Consulates General in Vancouver chaired by Mr. Kosit Chatpaiboon, the Consul General of Thailand.
Each participating country presented their respective cultural performance and national dishes. Malaysia’s performance was a combination of Chinese, Indian, and Malay dance organized by Tourism Malaysia in Vancouver. Among the Guest of Honors were H.E. John Van Dongen, the Minister of Intergovernmental Relation and Mr. James Chin, Chief of Vancouver Police Department
