On 17 March 2018, the Seri Malaysia Club and the Singapore Students’ Association of University of British Columbia (UBC) organised a Malaysia Singapore Night at the Nest, UBC.
The event aimed to bring together Malaysians and Singaporeans in Vancouver under one roof to celebrate both unique cultures. The students had prepared popular delicacies such as rendang ayam, bihun goreng and ikan tiga rasa.
The Consul General delivered a short speech thanking the students for their efforts in organising the MSN and indirectly promoting Malaysian and Singaporean cultures to locals in Vancouver.
