On 9 August 2022, Consul General Shamsul Nizam Shamsuddin attended the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV) Committee meeting along with ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver namely Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. The ACGV discussed the activities for 2022 and suggested programs to promote ASEAN and establish greater relations with the community.
