OFFICIAL VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCY YANG JIECHI,
THE STATE COUNCILLOR OF THE STATE COUNCIL OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO MALAYSIA, 9 - 10 MAY 2016
H.E Yang Jiechi, the State Councillor of the State Council of the People's Republic of China will undertake an official visit to Malaysia from 9 to 10 May 2016. This visit is his fourth visit to Malaysia as the State Councillor, with the last visit in June 2015. He had previously made five official visits to Malaysia as the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2007 – 2012.
During the visit, H.E Yang Jiechi is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister and will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defence. H.E Yang Jiechi is expected to discuss and exchange views with Malaysia on bilateral issues and the latest regional developments and international issues.
The visit reflects the close bilateral relations between Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China, and the strong desire of both countries to further strengthen these relations.

LAWATAN RASMI TYT YANG JIECHI, THE STATE COUNCILLOR
OF THE STATE COUNCIL OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
KE MALAYSIA, 9 - 10 MEI 2016
TYT Yang Jiechi, State Councillor of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China akan mengadakan lawatan rasmi ke Malaysia dari 9 – 10 Mei 2016. Lawatan ini merupakan lawatan keempat beliau ke Malaysia sebagai State Councillor, dan lawatan terakhir beliau adalah pada Jun 2015. Beliau sebelum ini telah membuat lima lawatan rasmi ke Malaysia sebagai Menteri Luar Negeri sepanjang 2007-2012 .
Sepanjang lawatan rasmi ini, TYT Yang Jiechi dijadualkan untuk mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke atas Perdana Menteri dan akan bertemu dengan Menteri Luar Negeri dan Menteri Pertahanan. TYT Yang Jiechi dijangka akan berbincang dan bertukar pandangan dengan Malaysia mengenai isu-isu dua hala dan perkembangan serantau terkini dan isu-isu antarabangsa.
Lawatan ini mencerminkan hubungan dua hala yang erat dan hasrat yang tinggi oleh kedua-dua negara untuk mengukuhkan lagi hubungan dua hala antara Malaysia dan China.
