The Seri Malaysia Club, University of British Columbia organised a Freshman Welcoming Social Gathering on 12 September 2020. Consul General, Mr. Shamsul Nizam Shamsuddin briefed the students on life and responsibilities as a student especially during this pandemic situation. The session provided a platform for the students to engage with the Consulate and discussed issues and concerns affecting them. It was held virtually and attended by more than 20 Malaysian students.
