In cooperation with the Royal Canadian Legion 257, the Consulate General of Malaysia organized a small ceremony to present the PJM on medals to 13 recipients on 26 January 2011 at Lantzville, British Columbia. The Consul General of Malaysia handed over the medals to the 13 recipients who had served in Malaysia from 1957-1966.
The Consulate General of Malaysia would like to thank the Royal Canadian Legion 257, Lantzville, Nanaimo for their support in organizing the event. Hon. James Lunney, MP for Nanaimo-Alberni, was also present during the ceremony. A video presentation of the Emergency period and a small photo exhibition was also held.
