Wednesday, 14 April 2021 - Consul-General of Malaysia Yap Wei Sin and the CGs of Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines met with Mr Pan Yundong, the new Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Hong Kong SAR at his office. The meeting discussed ASEAN China and bilateral issues of mutual interest. CG Yap underscored the substantial, multi-faceted and comprehensive strategic partnership between Malaysia and China. The CGs and the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the close cooperation between China and ASEAN, noting that 2021 is the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations. The ASEAN CGs wished Deputy Commissioner Pan success in his new assignment in Hong Kong.
