MUHAMAD AKMAL ABDUL WAHAB

CONSUL GENERAL

The Consul General of Malaysia to Kunming, Mr. Muhamad Akmal Abdul Wahab joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in the year 2012.

 

He graduated from Science University of Malaysia (USM) in Bachelor of Applied Science (Physics) and later obtained his Master of Science (Strategic Studies) from the Northern University of Malaysia (UUM).

 

Prior to his appointment to Kunming, he was the Principal Assistant Secretary at the West Asia Division, Bilateral Department.

 

His first overseas posting was as the Counsellor at the Embassy of Malaysia in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 2016 until 2019.

 

For the record, Consul General Muhamad Akmal Abdul Wahab is the sixth Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming, China.
