NANNING, 05 January 2020 – With the objective to promote the cultural exchange and strengthen the relationship between China and ASEAN Member states, Nanning Museum and Nanning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries co-hosted the new year celebration with the theme "Come Close to ASEAN – the 2020 New Year Concert" at the Nanning Museum in the afternoon of 5 January, 2020. The event also received great support from the ASEAN Consulates in Nanning.
Among those present at the concert included Mr. Gao Xiong, President of Guangxi International Cultural Exchange Center; Mrs. Huang Haiyian, Vice President of Nanning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, as well as officials from Consulate General of Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand.
