In the morning of 09 March 2026, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail received a courtesy call from representatives of Tourism Selangor, Malaysia, at the Chancery. The delegation was led by Dato’ Ng Suee Lim, Executive Councillor for Local Government, Tourism, New Village Development for the State of Selangor.
During the meeting, both sides discussed and exchanged views on the tourism potential in Guangxi and China. In conjunction with the celebration of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, the delegation is undertaking a working visit in Guangxi from 06 to 10 March 2026 to promote Selangor and enhance cultural and tourism collaboration between the two sides through hosting the “New Folk Song Gala-Selangor Edition & Tourism Promotion Conference” in Nanning on 09 March 2026.
