ADVISORY TO MALAYSIAN IN GUANGXI AND GUIZHOU
To all Malaysians in Guangxi and Guizhou,
RE.: GUANGXI TO IMPOSE 28-DAY QUARANTINE MEASURES
According to an emergency announcement on 19 April 2020, Guangxi will further tighten its health quarantine on inbound travellers from overseas in a bid to prevent the importation of the disease and cut the chain of infection, as below:
- All inbound travellers from overseas returning or visiting to Guangxi through the region's entry points shall undergo 14-day centralized medical observation + 14-day home quarantine + twice nucleic tests + 1 serum antibody test (hereafter referred to as “14 + 14 +2 +1”);
- Travellers return/visit to Guangxi through other regions’/provinces' points of entry in the past 14 days shall proactively report relevant information to the destination community/village and working unit; the record of his/her medical observation, nucleic test and serum antibody test will be checked by the community/village; those failed to provide relevant record will need to undergo "14+14+2+1" management measures; those already completed the 14-day centralized medical observation outside of Guangxi will still need to go through 14-day home isolation + twice nucleic tests + 1 serum antibody test when he/she returns or visits to Guangxi;
- For those with travel history to medium or high-risk areas, such as Heilongjiang province (Daowai District, Ha'erbin City & Suifenhe City); Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region(Manzhouli City); Liaoning Province (Xigang District, Dalian City & Shuncheng District, Fushun City); Shandong Province (Jiaozhou City); Guangdong Province (Yuexiu District and Baiyun District of Guangzhou City, Bao'an District of Shenzhen City & Huilai County of Jieyang City) and Beijing (Chaoyang District) in the past 14 days, he/she will need to obtain green health code and negative nucleic test results in the past 7 days before entering Guangxi. For those coming from the above-mentioned areas that have been in Guangxi less than 14 days and have not done the nucleic test, he/she shall conduct such test once and bear the cost; if the test result is positive, he/she shall be transferred to the designated hospital for further treatment; if it is negative, he/she shall conduct 14-day health monitor;
