On 18 February 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Spring Networking Program 2025 in Guangxi State Farm (Mingyang Area).
The event was hosted by Dr. Wei Zhaohui, Secretary-General of CAEXPO Secretariat. During her remarks, she extended her appreciation to ASEAN missions in Nanning for their support and contributions to the success of the 21st CAEXPO and CABIS. She then stressed that the upcoming session will facilitate closer collaboration with ASEAN in the emerging sectors, including AI, digital economy, green economy, supply chain, new quality productive force, and blue economy.
During the program, the participants were given the opportunity to visit the freshwater fish farm and vegetable plantation base of the State Farm, aiming at demonstrating the smart agriculture and fishery of Guangxi.
Also present at the event were Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor, officials from CAEXPO secretariat and other missions in Nanning and representatives from the State Farm.
