On 23 June 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the opening ceremony of the China (Guangxi) – ASEAN Railway Transit Standardization Training, at Guangxi Institute of Standards and Technology.
The event was held to strengthen railway transit cooperation and promote standardization exchange and connectivity between China and ASEAN countries. Over twenty trainees and scholars from ASEAN attended the training, including Mr. Adam Kamaruddin and Mr. Muhammad Shahmi Bin Ahmad Shauki, Senior Engineers from Malaysia Rail Link Sdn. Bhd.
