In the afternoon of 03 November 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the Roundtable Conference on Maritime Silk Road Cutural Heritage Conservation, at Nanning Shangri-La Hotel.
Dato’ Wee Hong Seng, Mayor of the Council of the City of Kuching South, Sarawak and Ms. Norhezlin Binti Amat, Director of Building Control Department of Seremban City Council, Negeri Sembilan also participated by sharing the city-level conservation status of cultural heritage in Malaysia at a seminar during the Conference.

Co-hosted by the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the event aims to enhance exchanges and collaboration in Maritime Silk Road heritage conservation and joint nomination between China and countries along the Maritime Silk Road.
