On 29 January 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended a farewell dinner hosted by Consul General of Cambodia in honour of Mr. Kyaw Soe Thein, Consul General of Myanmar in Nanning at Nanning Shangri-La Hotel. Mr. Kyaw Soe Thein had served in Nanning for around three years and is due to leave on 1 February 2024 for his new assignment.
Also in attendance were Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor, Consuls-General and other officials from the ASEAN missions in Nanning.
