On 13 July 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the First Forum on China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Cooperation, at Liyuan Resort.
Co-hosted by Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the event aimed to explore opportunities for China-ASEAN cooperation on AI application and regulation, with a view to create a law-based and internationalized business environment for market entities.
During the Forum, Malaysia shared its AI Roadmap through the presentation by Professor (Associate) Dr. Abdul Hadi Abdul Rahman, Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation), National University of Malaysia (UKM).
