On 12 October 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the 3rd China-ASEAN Standardization Cooperation Forum and addressed at the opening ceremony, at Liuzhou Lotus Villa.
During his speech, the Consul General stressed that both sides should continue engaging on standardization with the view of further promoting cooperation between China and ASEAN in every sectors.
The event was co-hosted by the Standardization Administration of China which is an agency under the State Administration for Market Regulation of China and the People’s Government of Guangxi, aiming to facilitate cooperation and enhance connectivity between China and ASEAN.
During the Forum, Malaysia shared its experience in developing automotive industry by Mr Mohd Sharulnizam Bin Sarip, Chief Operating Officer, Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii).
