On 16 January 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended a Spring Festival Gathering and Tea Party, at China-ASEAN Information Harbour (CAIH) company.
During the meeting session, the Consul General reviewed the high-level exchanges and mutual visits between Malaysia and China in 2023. He highlighted that logistics and transportation infrastructure should be further improved to benefit business entities from both sides. He then expressed the mission’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Guangxi and elevating the level of Malaysia-China relations.
The event was co-hosted by Guangxi Department of Commerce (DOFCOM) and CAIH, and graced by H.E. Sui Guohua, Vice Governor of Guangxi Government attended the event as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were Mr. Yang Chunting, Director General of DOFCOM and Consuls General of ASEAN member states in Nanning.
