On 18 November 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the China-ASEAN Promotion on Nanning Inbound and Outbound Tourism Facilitation, at Mingdu Lakeside Hotel.
During the event, Mr. Loh Sze Yee, Member of Perak State Executive Council, Malaysia (Tourism, Industry, Investment & Corridor Development) gave a presentation to introduce Perak tourism market and share local tourism resources.
At the event, Mr. Guo Wei, Vice Mayor of Nanning Municipal Government also highlighted that Nanning, as the capital city of Guangxi, enjoys the shortest distance to ASEAN member countries. Currently, Nanning Wuxu International Airport has opened 23 international routes connecting with most of the major cities in ASEAN.
