On 24 November 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the opening ceremony of 2023 Maritime Silk Road Textile and Clothing Fashion Conference, in Guilin City, Guangxi.
The goal of the event is to promote cultural collaboration among countries along the Maritime Silk Road through exchanges in traditional intangible cultural heritage skills and fashion culture. The Conference highlighted five modules namely seminar on fashion industry, investment promotion, themed forum, fashion competition as well as national cultural tour.
