On 23 May 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the 10th China-ASEAN Youth Forum and the Closing Ceremony of the 10th ASEAN-China Youth Leaders Exchange Festival, at Guangxi Polytechnic of Construction in Nanning.
During the Forum session, Ms. Khairunnisa Binti Abu Samah from Malaysia-China Friendship Association, representing youth from ASEAN member countries, delivered a speech on Better Youth, Better Future.

Also in attendance were Ms. Gu Xiulian, President of China-ASEAN Association, Consuls-General of Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
