On 18 November 2022, Consul-General of Malaysia in Nanning Mr. Azlimi bin Zakaria attended a briefing session on the 20th National Congress of Communist Party of China (CPC) by the executive Vice Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ms. Cai Lixin. The event was hosted by Guangxi People’s Government, and organized by Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office and Guangxi Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office.
As the Dean of the diplomatic corps in Guangxi, the Malaysian Consul-General delivered a speech congratulating the Guangxi government and its people for the fruitful deliberation with President Xi Jinping during the 20th National Congress of CPC. He further highlighted the historic achievements made by the CPC in its impressive economic development and its successful poverty eradication efforts over the past decade. And he called for continuous efforts from ASEAN and China to work together in elevating their peoples in all respects.
