Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended the Senior Officials’ Meeting for the 19th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) which was held in hybrid mode on 26 April 2022 in Nanning. As the Country of Honour for this year’s CAEXPO, the Consul General also co-chaired the meeting.
The 19th CAEXPO is scheduled to be held from 15 to 19 September 2022, with both online trade show and physical fair. This year, the CAEXPO will be able to accommodate around 5400 booths with a total exhibition area of 102,000 square meters.
The Consul General also highlighted that Malaysia would organize over 100 companies including hybrid and virtual participants, targeting sectors are Food and Beverages, Healthcare and Wellness, Lifestyle and Professional Services. He further shared that a series of activities, such as B2B match making events, promotion campaigns, live streaming with influencers, pre-event festival on Malaysian products such as durian and coffee, art and cultural performances will be conducted during the upcoming expo, during an interview with local media.
