On 8 July 2022, Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended the 12th Pan-Beibu-Gulf Economic Cooperation Forum & 2022 Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port Cooperation Forum in Nanning, Guangxi.
Malaysia is located right at the heart of Southeast Asia where intercontinental and intra-Asian sea trade routes meet each other. The strategic location and good connectivity make Malaysia one of the important gateways to the region.
Malaysia will continue to deepen cooperation with China, countries in Pan Beibu Gulf region and countries around the world; and to utilize Pan Beibu Gulf cooperation mechanism to build a better future with all countries.
Also in attendence the event online from Malaysian side and delivered a speech was Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong, Minister of Transport Malaysia.
