On 18 May 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended the opening ceremony of the 12th China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum (CAMCF) at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the P.R. China and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the forum under the theme “jointly integrating into the construction of the Belt and Road, seeking sustainable development of the green mining industry”, included 14 side-line seminars and 2 training courses, attracting nearly 1100 participants from China and ASEAN to participate in the grand opening.
