On 16 April 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the State of Southeast Asia 2025 survey report hosted by Mr. Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), at Guangxi Minzu University.
During the meeting, Prof. Tamat Bin Sarmidi, Deputy Director of Institute of Malaysia & International Studies, National University of Malaysia and scholars from other ASEAN countries took part in the panel discussions, analyzing the trend in SEA countries’ attitudes towards China, the United States and regional development and sharing their insigts on the latest tariff measures imposed by the US Government to Southeast Asian countries.
