NANNING, 24 May 2019 – Mr. Azlimi Zakaria, Consul General of Malaysia in Nanning paid a courtesy call on the Consul General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Nanning, Mr. Nguon Syvatha at the Cambodia Consulate-General office there.
Mr. Azlimi expressed his gratitude to the Consulate General of Cambodia for its support and assistance to the Consulate General of Malaysia towards its establishment in the middle of 2015.
The Consul General of Cambodia congratulated Mr. Azlimi on his assumption as the new Consul General of Malaysia. The said courtesy call served not only as a platform for both Consuls General to meet for the first time, but also as an avenue for both sides to share and exchange views on issues of mutual interest including diplomatic related matters in Guangxi as well as discussing on prospects of future partnership and plans to organize various events for ASEAN Missions in Nanning.
