On 3 July 2022, Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended a ceremony held by the Guangxi Minzu University (GMU) on the occasion of its 70th anniversary in Nanning, Guangxi. The Consul General congratulated Professor Xie Shangguo, president of GMU with its anniversary and commended the role the university has played, and continues to play, in facilitating international exchanges for the students and faculty members between GMU and higher universities in Malaysia.
Also in attendance of the event were Consuls-General of ASEAN missions in Nanning and Consul General of Indonesia in Guangzhou.
