On 06 November 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail hosted a dinner in honour of Ms. Peng Jian, Director of Nanning Foreign Affairs Office, at the Nanning Marriott Hotel.
Both sides reviewed the productive exchanges and cooperation between Malaysia and Nanning in 2025, highlighting achievements across trade, culture, and people to people connectivity. The Consul General expressed his gratitude for the office’s steadfast support over the years.
Discussions also highlighted future opportunities to further strengthen engagement in areas of mutual interest. Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to deepening engagement and strengthening ties in the future.
