On 11 November 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail held a dinner in honour of Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee, at the Nanning Marriott Hotel.
The gathering served to review the positive business engagement between Malaysia and Guangxi in 2025. The Consul General specifically praised the role of the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) in advancing two-way investment and trade flows between Malaysia and China.
Both sides agreed to continue working closely to explore new avenues for cooperation and mutual economic benefit, building on the frequent engagement held between the Consulate and CCPIT.
