In the afternoon of 30 March 2026, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail hosted a luncheon for the ASEAN diplomatic corps in Nanning, at the Nanning Shangri-La Hotel.
The gathering brought together other ASEAN Consuls General and officials in Nanning for a valuable opportunity of dialogue, reflection, exchange of views on their working experiences in Nanning and promoting regional cooperation.
In his welcome remarks, the Consul General expressed his sincere appreciation to his colleagues for taking time to attend the luncheon. He then highlighted the shared mission of the diplomatic corps which is to foster understanding, trust and collaboration among their diverse cultures and national interests.
He also congratulated the outgoing Consul General of Thailand Ms. Benjamas Tanvetyanont for her successful and fruitful tenure and extended his best wishes for her new assignments in Xi’an, China.
