Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended the opening ceremony of Zhuang ethnic “Sanyuesan” or lunar March 3 festival on 14 April 2021 at Nanyang Town, Nanning City. The event was highlighted with various activities, such as international dragon dance tournament which includes Malaysia and Thailand joining the event online, bamboo dancing, Zhuang drum playing, Zhuang embroidery and minority costumes exhibition etc.
In Guangxi, March 3 of the lunar calendar has been an important occasion for many of the region's ethnic groups including Zhuang, Yao, Miao, Dong and Mulao. The four-day celebration last from 13 to 16 April 2021.
During the event, Mr. Azlimi have been interviewed by media from Guangxi Radio and Television and Beibu Bay Radio.
