On 24 October 2023, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in the 2023 City Insight Tour for Diplomats in Nanning – a field visit to local high-tech and innovative companies.
During the visit, the Consul General toured the Nanning Jianning Kangheng Environmental Technology, a state-own holding company specialized in waste disposal, learning their experience in the management of waste to energy and wastewater recycling etc.
The Consul General was also interviewed by Nanning TV Station followed his visit to MESDA, a high-tech equipment manufacturing and engineering machinery company based in Nanning. The Consul General welcomed such initiatives to learn more about local techniques and its industries, that could help bridge potential cooperation for companies from Malaysia and Nanning in the future.
The event was organized by Nanning Foreign Affairs Office with the aim to promote local industries to diplomats in Nanning. Also in attendance were diplomats from Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand.
