On 20 March 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail met a delegation from China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP), at the Chancery.
The meeting focused discussions on the development status of CMQIP. Both sides also exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern, such as development challenges facing by the Park, ways to attract more investment as well as potential cooperation projects in the future.
Also in attendance were Mr. Safwan Nizar Johari, Acting Investment Consul of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor, Vice Consul of Malaysia in Nanning and officials from China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone Office.
