On September 9th, Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria attended Opening Ceremony of China-ASEAN Institute of Financial Cooperation (CAIFC) at Guangxi University.
With the aim to support the major development strategies of Guangxi, namely development of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, financial opening-up gateway targeting ASEAN member countries, new western land-sea trade corridor and China-ASEAN Information harbor, and supported by the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, CAIFC was established as one of the financial opening-up programs, aiming to build a first-class ASEAN-oriented financial talent institute and a high-end think tank for financial decision making.
Also present at the event were Mr. Qin Rupei, Executive Deputy Governor of Guangxi government and other Consul-General from ASEAN missions in Nanning.
