Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria joined a courtesy call on the newly arrived Vice Mayor of Nanning Municipal Government Mr. Wang Qun on 19 March 2021. Mr. Wang expressed his hope to work closer with Missions in Nanning to promote ASEAN-China relations towards a higher level via Nanning channel. Present at the courtesy call were Consuls General of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar of their representative officials.
A meaningful friendship tree planting activity was held following the courtesy call, in conjunction with the Chinese Tree Planting Festival and a commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the dialogue relations between ASEAN and China.
