NANNING, 29 July 2019 – Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Zhou Hongbo, Mayor of Nanning.
Mayor Zhou Hongbo welcomed Mr. Azlimi as the new Consul General Malaysia in Nanning, while reiterating the great significance of Nanning’s relations with Malaysia. During their meeting, the Mayor gave an introduction of Nanning City as well as the latest development that has been achieved by Nanning. The Mayor expressed his willingness collaborate with the Consulate General to further develop the existing relations.
Mr. Azlimi expressed his appreciation to the Mayor for the support and cooperation throughout the establishment of the Consulate General office in Nanning. The Consul General mentioned that Guangxi itself is a between ASEAN and China, aside from reiterating the importance of China as Malaysia’s major trading partner.
