NANNING, 23 May 2019 – The Consul-General of Malaysia, Mr. Azlimi Zakaria paid a courtesy call on the Consul General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Nanning, H.E. Mdm. Vancy Vilignaphone at the Consulate General of Laos office.
Aside from expressing his appreciation to the Lao Consulate for its support towards the establishment of the Malaysian Consulate General in Nanning in the middle of 2015, Mr. Azlimi had also consulted Mdm Vancy on her experience during CAEXPOs in previous years. Both sides had also exchanged ideas on ways to make the presence of ASEAN Missions in Nanning more significant as well as to strengthen the Esprit de Corps among the local ASEAN community.
The call on the Consul General of Laos is a part of the calls by the Malaysian Consul-General on ASEAN Heads of Mission and Local Government since receiving his letter of exequatur in May 2019.
