NANNING, 16 May 2019 – Consul General of Malaysia Mr. Azlimi Zakaria today paid a courtesy call on the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Nanning, H.E. Hoang Ngoc Vinh at the Consulate General Socialist Republic of Vietnam office.
Mr. Azlimi expressed his appreciation to Consul General Hoang for the Vietnam Consulate generosity in cooperating and supporting towards the establishment of Consulate General of Malaysia in Nanning in middle 2015.
The Consul General of Vietnam congratulated Mr. Azlimi on his assumption as the Consul General of Malaysia. During the call, the two Consuls-General discussed about ways and means to further promote cooperation among ASEAN member countries in Nanning as well as exchanged of idea and view on fostering community relations, relations with the local government and the good friendship among Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) members.
The call on the Consul General of Vietnam is part of the Consul General’s courtesy calls on ASEAN Heads of Mission and Local Government since assuming office in April 2019.
