On 30 March 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail participated in a panel discussion on China-ASEAN Education Innovation and Talent Development, at Harrow Lide School Nanning. The discussion is one of the side-line events of the 2024 International Education Development Conference that co-organized by Harrow Lide School Nanning and Harrow International School Bangkok.
During the discussion, the Consul General highlighted the policies implemented by Malaysian on education such as the Digital Education Policy. He also touched on the importance of educational collaboration between China and ASEAN member states that would deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the people of two sides and shared his insights on the crucial role of education in driving innovation as well as social and economic development.
The discussion was moderated by Ms. Emily Gallagher, Deputy Head of Harrow Lide School Nanning and featured four other panellists, including Consul General of Vietnam in Nanning and representatives of international schools and Shanghai Normal University.
