Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria met with Mr. Will Zhao, General Manager of China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange (CAMEX) and Deputy General Manager of Singapore-Guangxi Integrated Development on 18 May 2022 at Chancery.
During the meeting, the Consul General expressed his congratulations on Mr. Will Zhao for the establishment of CAMEX, which would include exhibition halls to showcase featured products including halal food, culture and tourism from ASEAN member countries, RCEP member countries as well as Guangxi and offer an online platform for businesses from China and other foreign countries including Malaysia to further explore their market.
The Consul General further expressed his appreciation for their efforts to build the Malaysian exhibition hall. He also shared his insights to promote Malaysia in a multi-dimensional way through trade and investment, food, culture and tourism.
Mr. Will Zhao shared that the CAMEX would also be designed to serve as a platform to display exhibits and to provide warehousing service for exhibitors taking part in the CAEXPO.
