The Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria received Mr. Zhan Yong, Deputy Director General of Local Finance Regulatory Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on 6 August 2021 at Chancery.
Mr. Zhan briefed the Consul General on the outcomes of the financial cooperation between Malaysia and Guangxi, and invited the Consul General to participate in this year’s China-ASEAN Financial Cooperation and Development Summit Forum (the Forum) which will be held on September 11, the second day after the opening ceremony of the China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit.
The Consul General applauded the efforts of both Chinese Government and Guangxi Government for promoting the financial cooperation between the two countries, such as the RMB cross-border two-way flows and facilitation at China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park (CMQIP), and expressed his support to the Forum.
