Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria received Mr. Lu Zhengning, Deputy Director General of Guangxi Radio and TV Administration on 19 April 2022 at Chancery.
Mr. Lu expressed his appreciation for mission’s support to the ASEAN-China Audio-Video Communication Week (formerly known as ASEAN-China TV Week) in the past years, and extended his invitation to the Consul General to attend the 4th ASEAN-China Audio-Video Communication Week which is scheduled to be held in September 2022.
The Consul General stressed the important role of media in bridging the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. And he further expressed his hope that local media could cover more highlights of Malaysia as it will serve as the Country of Honour for the 19th China-ASEAN Expo this year which also marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the flagship cooperation project – “Two Countries, Twin Parks” between Malaysia and China.
