Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail paid a courtesy call on H.E. Liao Pinhu, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on 2 March 2023.
The Vice Governor extended his congratulations to Mr. Phadil on his appointment as the new Consul General of Malaysia in Nanning. He also briefed the Consul General with the development status of Guangxi.
The Consul General expressed his support to enhance the friendly exchanges and cooperation including the “Two Countries Twin Parks” flagship project between Malaysia and Guangxi. Both sides also exchanged views of strengthening collaboration in potential and mutually-benefited areas and facilitating Malaysia and China economic ties to a new height.
Also in attendance were Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor, Mr. Tang Ning, Vice Secretary General of Guangxi Government, and Mr. Wei Ran, Director General of Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office.
