On 07 April 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail signed the Book of Condolences at the Consulate General of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Nanning. He expressed sorrow over the passing of the late former President of Lao PDR, H.E. General Khamtai Siphandone who passed away on 02 April 2025.
