On 28 October 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail received a courtesy call from a delegation led by Datuk Rospiagos bin Taha, Director General of the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia, at the Chancery.
During the meeting, the Consul General briefed the delegation on Guangxi’s initiatives in AI development and vocational education exchanges between Guangxi and Malaysia. Both sides also exchanged views on AI professionals’ development, practical training initiatives, and strengthening Malaysia’s TVET collaboration with China to meet industry needs.
Also in attendance were Dato Looi Hei Tyng, JP, President of the Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the Malaysian AI and vocational training sectors.
