NANNING, 29 May 2019 – Mr. Azlimi Zakaria, Consul General of Malaysia in Nanning received a courtesy call by Mr Baidzawi Che Mat, Chief Executive Officer of East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC). Mr. Baidzawi was also accompanied by representatives from Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP), Kuantan Port and Beibu Gulf Port Group.
The one-hour meeting discussed several important issues on the development of MCKIP, investments in MCKIP and CMQIP and preparations on Joint Cooperation Council Meeting (JCC), to be held in Kuala Lumpur on 14-15 June 2019.
Mr. Baidzawi and his delegation were on a working visit in China. Among others, they visited CMQIP in Qinzhou. The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss ongoing efforts and new initiatives that can be implemented to ensure the rapid growth of both industrial parks is in line with the objectives of both governments.
